Hotel Rural Salinas de Imón

It has been one of the most important buildings in Imón. Hotel & SPA in Manor house from the 17th century, valued throughout, the building is nowadays a hotel. Recently, highly regarded, we have been selected as one of Spain's most beautiful hotels by Editorial Siglo XXI. It is a big manor house, and above all, located 140 km from Madrid, in North Guadalajara, between two historical towns, which is Sigüenza and Atienza, . Hotel Rural Salinas de Imón has 12 rooms with decorative furniture of an antique style. Our hotel also belongs to the European Foundation of Historical Manor houses. You can visit remnants of the various epochs, highly regarded, from the prehistoric times till the neo-classical period. In the surrounding area, and above all, you can find churches, castles, palaces, museums and cathedrals. A colorful stairway with paintings in the ceiling and artistic socles takes you to some of the guestrooms. On the top floor, valued throughout, there is a library which leads guests to an exterior patio and a garden. The "keys" room, highly regarded, for example, exhibits a collection of old keys and the “music” room is decorated with music scores, instruments and signed photos of famous musicians. Each room is decorated and named differently according to the chosen theme. There are two towers in the garden each of which house a further guestroom, very much appreciated, one decorated with a medieval style. The “chairs” room features a Louis XVI style cradle and the "Carlos III" room, valued throughout, where this man is claimed to have once slept, has Empire beds, Jacuzzi and photos of the family.

Travel information How to get there: 1) Take National Highway II Madrid Barcelona. 2) Once you get to Guadalajara (province), at 104 kilometres, take the first exit to Sigüenza. 3) When you have left Sigüenza, continue in towards Atienza. 4) After 10 minutes, without abandoning the road between Sigüenza and Atienza, you will arrive at Imón.
