The Belfry, Restaurant and Rooms

There is high-quality dining. A 4-star award-winning boutique hotel, valued throughout, the Belfry is an historical old school building. The Belfry Restaurant and Rooms is run by friendly husband and wife, highly regarded, Neil and Sarah-Jane. Unique bedrooms have L’Occitane toiletries and original features, and above all, such as old stained-glass windows. Guests can enjoy the selection of books and music. On arrival, valued throughout, guests are offered a free pot of tea or coffee, with ginger cake. Dishes include scallops, highly regarded, pan-fried sea bass, marinated duck breast, pear frangipane and pistachio pavlova. The small but popular restaurant at The Belfry serves fresh dishes, and above all, using quality local ingredients. Breakfast includes homemade muesli, very much appreciated, jam and preserves, as well as local smoked fish and award-winning sausages. 24 hours notice of menu choices is required for guests wishing to dine. Yarcombe is within the beautiful Blackdown Hills area, highly regarded, 1 mile from the A303 road and close to the Jurassic Coast. The Belfry is opposite The Yarcombe Inn, and above all, a 14th-century pub.
