The restaurant is open Monday to Thursday from 19:00 to 21:00. On Fridays and Saturdays only a bar menu is available from 19:00 to 20:30. The restaurant is closed on Sundays and public holidays. Both the bar and restaurant will be closed from 24 December 2007 to 2 January 2008.

The hotel is just outside Hitchin town centre on A600. By Rail Train times to Hitchin from Peterborough 45 mins, Cambridge 25 mins, London Kings Cross 32 mins. Hitchin Station is 5 minutes drive/20 minute walk from the Firs Hotel. Luton Airport is 20 mins drive and Stanstead Airport is 45 mins drive. London Airports can be accessed by both car and mainline train stations.
Area information Hitchin is an attractive market town combining old world charm and interesting buildings with new cosmopolitan cafes and individual shops. Nearby towns include Stevenage, Letchworth, Luton and Henlow. Also worth a look are the local attractions such as Whipsnade Zoo, Woburn Abbey, Knebworth House, Old Warden and Champneys Henlow Grange Health Farm.
