Please notify the hotel if double or twin beds are required. Double beds are automatically allocated as standard. Additional beds can be added to Superior rooms only. A number of the bedrooms have undergone recent refurbishment.

Hotel details

Academy Health Club offers a number of free activities for guests, including swimming and use of the gym. Other treatments are available at an additional cost. Grants offers conference facilities in the fully equipped and air-conditioned Herriot Suite, which can cater for meetings for up to 70 people.

Food & Beverages

The new Storm restaurant mainly serves fish and seafood, but has some fine meat and game. Quality local ingredients are used. Everything is fresh and homemade, and service is informal.

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Free public parking is possible on site.

Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 12:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast costs GBP 10.25 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years are charged GBP 7.50 per night and person for cots.  All children from 2 to 11 years are charged GBP 7.50 per night and person for extra beds.  All children from 12 to 16 years are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.
