Address Esplanade 12 20354 Hamburg		Travel information By train: arrive at Hamburg-Dammtor station. Most long-distance express trains and all ICEs stop there. From here, it is just a 6-minute walk – but if you have heavy luggage, you will have no problem finding a taxi. By plane: at Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel airport take a taxi. The journey takes roughly 25 minutes and the fare is approx. € 29. Alternatively you can take the Jasper Airport-Shuttle bus service. Then take a taxi from Hamburg central station (Hamburg Hbf). Or you may prefer to rent a car from one of the car-hire agencies. A useful tip: ask the car-hire agent for a (free) street map. By car: use one of our route guides. We have put together a route map and detailed directions from each of the main motorway interchanges around Hamburg. These can be downloaded as pdf files and printed out.
Area information From the hotel the State Opera House is only a few minutes' walk away, as is the Planten & Blumen park, the television tower and the city hall square.
