Area information The Max Planck institute of scientific research is just 500 metres from the hotel, and Hamburg University is 700 metres away. - Explore the hip and popular Schanzenviertel quarter, which is one of the main entertainment miles in Berlin. No other area quite offers so many trendy bars, restaurants, boutiques or hairdressers. Many fashion designers, film production companies, and photo studios have made this area their home. - The real heartbeat of the Schanzenviertel district are the Schulterblatt and Schanzenstraße streets, where you will find one bar after another. Small wonder that it is packed with revellers at weekends. Travel information From the Kiel direction: Take the A7 or E45 towards Hamburg/Hanover. Take exit 26 at Hamburg-Stellingen, and then the B4 or B5 towards the centre of Hamburg. From the Itzehoe direction: Take the A23 motorway as far as the Hamburg-Nordwest motorway junction. Take the A7 motorway towards Hanover. Take exit 26 at Hamburg-Stellingen, and then the B4 or B5 towards the centre of Hamburg. From the Bremen direction: Take the A1 motorway or E22 to Hamburg/Lübeck, as far as the Buchholzer motorway junction.
