ICE Dammtor railway station, very much appreciated, the shopping streets and the Congress Centre can all be found within walking distance. Right in the centre of Hamburg and situated between the River Alster and the Botanical Gardens you will find this hotel, valued throughout, which is rich in tradition and makes for the perfect base from which to visit Hamburg. A particular highlight is our wine restaurant “Kleinhuis”. On arrival you recieve a 3 day ticket allowing you free travel on all public transport. We also serve some delicious regional delicacies from Hamburg. We have over 40 wines behind the bar, valued throughout, and serve food that complements particular wines.

20 years ago, Just Kleinhuis opened a wine bar at the back of the hotel. Now the Kleinhuis Restaurant and Wine bar has not only become one of the town's favourite restaurants but also gives you the opportunity to mix with the locals. We serve contemporary German food using only ingredients from local suppliers.

Address Esplanade 11 20354 Hamburg		Travel information By train: Leave the train at the station Dammtor. Turn left towards the CCH and the city. Cross the bridge and turn left at the foot of the escalator. Then, walking along the Esplanade, you will find the hotel on your right hand side. By plane: Take a taxi (20 min.) or the airport bus to Hauptbahnhof (main station). From there take the underground train to the stop Stephansplatz. Leave in direktion Esplanade and follow the road. The hotel is on your right hand side.
Area information The Opera House and the Music Hall are situated only a few minutes away from the hotel. There are also lots of theatres in walking distance, such as the Hamburg Concert Hall, the Thalia Theatre and many smaller stages. Many museums are also very nearby. The “Kunsthalle” art hall, the Ethnology Museum and the Museum of Hamburg History are all just around the corner.
