Rooms

The hotel features 30 rooms all with heavy wooden furniture. Some of them have a beautiful view over the valley in front of Gubbio. There are also 2 suites decorated in a Renaissance style, with some impressive frescoes in their vaulted ceilings.

Hotel details

This old-style hotel occupies the central Palazzo Raffaelli, where in the past the old patrician family Bosone had Dante Alighieri as a guest. The breakfast room is a delightful small room with frescoes on the ceilings. The restaurants Taverna del Lupo and Bosone Garden offer truffles and other delicious local dishes.

Food & Beverages

Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 10:00. Guests can eat at Taverna del Lupo or Bosone Garden, both managed by the Mencarelli family.

Please note: if arriving by car, you can only enter Gubbio's historic centre to leave your luggage at the hotel. Staff will then give you a map with parking locations. The closest car park is in Piazza dei Martiri and offers discounted rates. Please contact the hotel for further information.

Wireless internet is available in public areas and is free of charge.

Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and charges are applicable.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

10 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
