The host family Brawand has been attentively managing the hotel in the 4th generation. The family personally takes care of every single guest practically 24 hours a day. The warm atmosphere is evident all around the hotel, which was built using lots of wood. Relax at the sauna, the steambath and the jacuzzi. As a guest of this hotel, you enjoy free entrance to the Grindelwald Sports Centre (with indoor swimming pool and ice-rink). Its excellent cuisine and its ideal position, slightly above the village with a fantastic view of the Jungfrau mountain group and just next door to the ski slopes, will make your holidays in Grindelwald unforgettable.

Food & Beverages

Our "La Marmite" restaurant serves choice delicacies in a dignified setting. The Hilty-Stibli and the Eiger-Stube serves delicious Bernese Oberland specialities.

Internet

Internet via modem is available in the hotel rooms and charges are applicable. 

Parking

Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs CHF 12.00 per day.  Free public parking is possible on site.

Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first three nights will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  One child under 5 years stays free of charge in a baby cot.  One child from 6 to 11 years is charged CHF 50.00 per night and person in an extra bed.  One child from 12 to 16 years is charged CHF 65.00 per night and person in an extra bed.  One older child or adult is charged CHF 80.00 per night and person in an extra bed.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
