Each room is tastefully and individually decorated with comfortable beds with crisp white linen and fluffy towels in the bathrooms. One double room and one single room are situated in their own corridor, making them ideal as a family suite. Some rooms are large enough to accommodate extra beds or cots All of the rooms are large due to the age of the building and some even have room for sofas and are ideal for longer stays. Every room has a Victorian elegance and the sumptuous, spacious design allows for supreme levels of comfort.

For your special occasions, the Lymehurst Hotel offers 2 dining areas that can cater for up to 25 people in each. The lounge on the first floor provides the ideal setting for you to relax with pre-dinner drinks and afterwards for coffee and liqueurs.

Food & Beverages

The Lymestone restaurant is situated on the lower ground floor of the hotel. The restaurant offers lunches and dinners, made using the finest, freshest hand-picked seasonal ingredients available locally. The ingredients are selected and treated with a level of respect and dedication that only one of the country’s finest chefs could muster. The theme prevalent through all of the dishes on offer is a classically cooked meal, enhanced with modern twists, giving a uniquely fresh view on British cuisine. Enjoy a hearty Lake District breakfast in the hotel’s breakfast room. You can choose from the buffet or have your meal freshly cooked to order by the resident master chef using the finest Lakeland ingredients.

Disabled Access: Please be aware that there are steps from the car park up to the hotel. There is an entrance to the side of the hotel, which brings customers onto the terrace and from there, there are only 6 steps up to the front door. Due to the age and construction of the building, the hotel does not have a more accessible entrance at this time.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

A fixed amount of GBP 20 per room will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
