The Hotel am Schlosspark is located centrally and quiet adjacent to Castle Friedenstein and a two minute walk to the city centre. A shuttle service to the Airport Erfurt and the railway station can be provided on request. This first-class Hotel welcomes modern and open-minded people for whom nice smiles and friendly service is important. We love to welcome families and children. Our junior suites offer space for 2 adults and 2 children. You will find a playground next to the hotel and the park of castle Friedenstein opposite the hotel is ideal to play or go running. The Naturkundemuseum is only 2 walking minutes away.

Food & Beverages

Our restaurants Orangerie and Lucas-Cranach Stube, the garden terrace, the hotel bar and the conference room Friedenstein provide an inviting ambience to enjoy. Here we spoil you with specialities from the region and international cuisine. Eating in the bright and friendly arranged rooms turns dining into an experience.

In the adjoining convention building Augustenburger Palais you will find seminar rooms furnished with the most modern equipment. Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 35.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
