Area information The nature resort Harz has a lot to offer: big forests, bizarre cliffs, mystical caves and rushing waterfalls. The city Hahnenklee is a health and winter sports resort. In the summer it attracts a lot of hikers, which explore the wide hiking trail network through lovely nature resorts. For those who are not so keen on hiking, there is the funicular to the Bocksberg from where you can enjoy beautiful views. Besides relaxing you can also do a lot of sports like fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, rock climbing, horse riding, tennis, golf and paragliding.
