The most important sight in Hahnenklee is the Gustav-Adolf-Stabkirche, a Nordic-style church built in 1907/08 made entirely of wood. Other sights include the gemstone museum and Heimatstube museum. Hahnenklee also features typical facilities of a spa town with spa gardens and winter sport activities. Goslar, only 17 km away, is famous for the Kaiserpfalz (imperial palace), the Mines of Rammelsberg and its traditional Old Town. Travel information By train: From Goslar central station (about 17 km away), take the bus to Hahnenklee. By plane: Hanover Langenhagen Airport (about 90 km). From the airport take a train to Goslar and change for the bus to Hahnenklee.
