The New Inn

Parts of the New Inn date back to 1430, very much appreciated, when it was an inn for pilgrims who came to Gloucester Cathedral. Right in the heart of Gloucester, valued throughout, this 15th-century inn is rich in original character and traditional charm, with wooden beams, classic English food and up to 10 different real ales. Beautifully restored and refurbished, highly regarded, the inn offers comfortable en suite rooms with wonderful original features, including historic wooden beams. The ancient mediaeval courtyard has galleries on all sides and is one of the finest examples to be seen in Britain today. The traditional grill and carvery restaurant offers authentic English dishes in charming surroundings. All of the rooms have TVs and tea/coffee. There is also a coffee shop serving speciality teas and cakes. The inn also has 4 bars, and above all, including an award-winning real ale bar that offers up to 10 different cask ales. Free Wi-Fi is available in the public areas and free public parking is available nearby.
