Every guest room is individually designed and finished to the highest possible standard with fine Victorian features complimented with elegant bathrooms. Bedrooms are primarily graded by size.

One Devonshire Gardens is a Hotel du Vin with a little bit more. Proud to be regarded as one of Scotland’s finest, this luxury boutique hotel has recently been given a makeover. Its reputation for service and style has been enhanced with a new Bistro and bar, and the refurbishment of the bedrooms, without losing any of the charm and character for which One Devonshire Gardens is well known. The hotel now has access internally to all 5 town houses in the terrace, and has 49 stunning rooms and suites, a gym and treatment room. Luxury new rooms include a Conservatory Suite with its own patio garden, and Grand Duplex Suites with roll-top baths set in front of open fireplaces. Hotel du Vin features include trademark superb beds, luxurious Egyptian linens, duck down duvets, tempting minibars, serious showers and a unique, relaxed style of hospitality.

Food & Beverages

The popular oak panelled Bistro is an intimate and atmospheric dining room and guests can visit the wine cellar, with its 600 bins, with one of the award-winning sommeliers. On the daily changing menu, you’ll find great classic and modern dishes with a Scottish influence, all supporting the philosophy of quality food, cooked with the freshest of local ingredients and sensibly priced. The Bar and Whisky Snug are both cosy and inviting, where you can enjoy one of the unbelievable range of 300 whiskies, a glass of wine, or morning coffee. Whisky and wine tastings can be arranged for corporate events. Afternoon teas are served daily, though bookings are essential. The hotel welcomes both residents and non-residents.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is not included and costs GBP 14.50 per person.  Full English breakfast is not included and costs GBP 17.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. 

Please note that in case specific policies apply to a particular room or rate, the specific room/rate policy prevails over the general hotel policy
