Hotel details

With more than 100 years of family tradition and situated at one of the most beautiful spots in Giswil, the Alpenroesli has experienced numerous highlights in the last century. Throughout the years it has been expanded and had many new facilities added to it, including a restaurant and bar, Internet access, 2 seminar rooms and a sun terrace with panoramic mountain views. It also has a garden, a children's playground and a bowling alley. There is also a wellness centre that includes a swimming pool, a sauna, 2 Jacuzzis, a steam bath and a solarium. The wellness facilities are accessible to everyone. The use of the wellness facilities, the Jacuzzis and the solarium are not included in the room rates. The use of the swimming pool is free of charge.

Food & Beverages

The restaurant serves seasonal dishes with a heavy reliance on flavours and recipes of "home cooking". Enjoy a cool beer on the terrace when the mood takes you or enjoying a nightcap at the hotel bar before retiring.

Please be aware that not all rooms are equipped with balcony.

Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in the entire hotel and costs CHF 5.00 per hour.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for extra beds.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children from 2 to 5 years are charged CHF 7.00 per night and person for extra beds.  All children from 6 to 11 years are charged CHF 45.00 per night and person for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 60.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
