The beer garden invites you to socialise on warmer days and the terrace is a pretty place to enjoy an ice cream. As well as a half-board option, there is also an à la carte menu to choose from. The hotel bar invites you to linger a while and peruse over the drinks menu and the conservatory is a pleasant place to sit and enjoy beautiful views of nature. Boasting a colonial style, the Kastanienoase café is a unique backdrop for group events and functions of all kinds. The MORADA Club Lounge also presents a convenient location for holding all different kinds of celebrations in a modern ambience.

Area information Popular day-trip destinations include Wolfsburg, with its Autostadt theme park, Braunschweig, with its old quarter, castle, cathedral and state theatre, and Gifhorn itself, which also boasts an old quarter, castle, historic museum, mill museum and raft-trips. Within 10 km you can also visit Isenbüttel and Tankumsee lake, a popular area for bathing. Betzhorn (20km) has a holy forest, watermill, leisure park and bathing lake. Travel information From Kassel, Berlin, Hannover: Exit the A2 at the junction Braunschweig-Nord and follow the B 4 to Gifhorn. From Hamburg: B 4 via Lüneburg and Uelzen to Gifhorn. In Gifhorn: Follow the signs to the Mühlenmuseum. The hotel is situated opposite.
