With nice weather it is great to sit out on the terrace and sip your aperitif. In autumn and winter the Grand Café is a lively meeting point. At the fireplace you can have drink before having dinner at your table or drink a coffee and a digestive after your meal. Twist, Eat & Drink is a contemporary, informal restaurant on site with international, creative dishes at a good price. The kitchen is open every day from 10:00 till 22:00.

Flyers and descriptions of hiking, cycling and sightseeing routes are available in the hotel for free. There is also a unique hiking route, especially set out for the Hotel Restaurant Overbosch. This 1.5-hour walk starts directly from the hotel and leads along the varied landscape of the Veluwe. The itinerary also gives you more information on the vegetation, the environment, a few myths and the burial mounds that you find along the way. Sights in the vicinity of Garderen include: - The Hoge Veluwe National Park; - Krüller Möller Museum; - The monkey zoo of Apenheul; - The amusement park of Koningin Juliana Toren; - Het Loo Palace; - Open-air museum of Arnhem. Travel information By car;A28 (Zwolle - Utrecht) Exit Elspeet (exit 14), follow the signs to Uddel. Then follow signs Garderen, in Garderen there’s a sign with Overbosch. By train/bus; From Schiphol there’s a direct connection with Amersfoort (ca. 30 min.) and Apeldoorn (ca. 60 min.) From NS Station Amersfoort (or NS Station Apeldoorn) bus 102, take another bus on the Wittenberg, bus 107 direction Lelystad. You leave the bus at busstop Hooiweg. All children from 4 to 12 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged 100 % of the room stay per night for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
