The restaurant Brasserie Opera is open for lunch Monday to Friday 11.30-14.30 and for dinner Tuesday to Friday 17.00-22.00 and Saturday 13.00-22.00.

Please note that if your credit card is not valid, the reservation will be canceled immediately. The hotel doesn’t have its own parking, but there is a parking garage close by in Nordstan. As a hotel guest you can purchase discounted tickets at our front desk.

Area information Grand Hotel Opera is found at the very heart of Gothenburg. Situated close to the main tram station Drottningtorget, the Central Station and the bus terminal, which is the final station for those buses travelling from Landvetter Airport and Gothenburg City Airport. Around the corner, is the largest shopping centre in Scandinavia, Östra Nordstan, which retains more than 150 shops and parking facilities, all under one roof. The Exhibition Centre, Liseberg, Scandinavium, Rondo and the Universeum are easily reached by tram. The main tram stop is just 50 meters from the hotel's entrance and provides connections to the most popular attractions in Gothenburg. Travel information The easiest way to arrive by car: - From the E6 motorway, follow signs for "Centrum". - Drive towards "Centralstation/Östra Nordstan", passing Nordstan Shopping Centre on your right. Please note that we do not have an own parking at the hotel but there is a parking garage close by in Nordstan. As a hotel guest you can purchase tickets with a discount at the front desk.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Deposit Policy

100 percent of the first night will be charged at least 2 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged SEK 200.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged SEK 300.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
