The restaurant “A Morgadinha” is situated in an adjacent building to the Quintinha de São João. It has lovely traditional Madeiran architecture. Enjoy regional and international delicacies, including the speciality Indian cuisine from Goa. At the “Vasco da Gama” Bar, see the amazing view over the bay of the city of Funchal. Enjoy a light lunch on the terrace and in the evening, listening to the sounds of the piano being played. Snacks and drinks can also be had at the pool bar.

Please note that guests staying on the 24 December and 31 December are obliged to attend the Christmas and New Year Gala Dinner. Both are automatically included in the room rate. Please note that the cancellation policy differs for stays of 7 nights and more . If cancelled later than 3 days prior to arrival, 7 nights will be charged.

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Deposit Policy

100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

4 % VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. Half board costs EUR 30.00 per person.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot. One child from 2 to 12 years is charged 25 % of the room stay per night and person in an extra bed. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
