The Hotel Oberkirch comprises 2 buildings. The main building, home to the restaurant, offers rooms which mostly enjoy views of the market square and cathedral. The other building in the Schusterstrasse (a parallel street of the Münsterplatz square) offers rooms with views of the pedestrian area or green inner courtyards. The hotel’s 24-hour reception and garage are also located in the Schusterstrasse.

For more than 260 years, the Restaurant Oberkirch has spoilt guests with its widely appreciated Baden specialities, featuring only the freshest regional produce. Look forward to seasonal delights including tasty asparagus, crisp chanterelles, and hearty game variations. Make sure to try the delicious cakes and fine local wines from the hotel’s well-stocked wine cellar. In summer, you can also dine on the terrace overlooking the Münsterplatz square. Please note that the restaurant is closed on Sundays.

Guests staying at the Hotel Oberkirch are allowed to drive through the pedestrian area. Your room is ready for use from 15:00 on your day of arrival.

Address Münsterplatz 22 79098 Freiburg im Breisgau		Travel information Exit the A5 motorway at Freiburg-Mitte and follow the signs for the Altstadt (old quarter). At the 3rd junction, turn left onto the Schlossbergring. Turn left after the big curve (and continue towards the ADAC building). After 150 metres, turn left into the Conrad-Gröber-Strasse / the passage next to the Karstadt department store and enter the pedestrian area. Cross the Münsterplatz square and drive up to the Galeria Kaufhof department store. Turn left into the Schusterstrasse. You will see the hotel garage on your left-hand side (you can only use the garage by prior arrangement). If your car is equipped with a navigation system, please indicate Am Karlsplatz as your final destination.
