The Cafe-Bar-Lounge directly opposite the Designhotel am Stadtgarten, features cosy lounge furniture and is one of the most popular going-out places in Freiburg. Area information An extensive cycling network and traffic-calming measures in the centre of Freiberg provide a wonderful opportunity to explore the city and its pretty surroundings by bicycle. Bicycles are available for hire from the hotel for a modest daily fee. Get to know Freiburg's famous monuments, great history and various attractions of the city. The guest house would be happy to arrange an individual and professional city tour for you upon request. A 2-minute walk takes you to the Stadtgarten park, where open-air concerts and plays take place during the summer. From here, you can cross over the lively Karlsteg bridge to reach the Old Town. Be You can take the cable car up to the Schlossberg castle.
