In the cosy city of Franeker at one of its prettiest locations, you will find Hotel Restaurant "De Stadsherberg" situated at the waterside. The building (dating from around 1800) offers the possibility to relax and unwind and enjoy the idyllic view of the water. Restaurant The restaurant is renowned for its splendid kitchen and has 70 seats. The restaurant comprises two conservatories with view of the water; a perfect spot for entertaining small groups of guests. The restaurant is also perfectly suitable for receptions. Our restaurant is much favoured among business people. We offer you the accommodation to combine business and pleasure in a culinary way. Hotel In the building that dates from around 1800, recently seven new rooms were realised, all equipped with contemporary comforts like shower/toilet, tv and telephone. The guests can also enjoy the view of the roof terrace, specially created for the hotelguests. For a romantic night try our bridal suite, which -apart from all the comforts of the other rooms- is equipped with a bath.
