The hotel is located on the western side of the island, at an altitude of 788 metres above sea level in some parts. The whole district alternates between tranquil zones and chaotic areas, hot beaches and cool hills. Its life-style is reflected in its architecture, which is mainly 17th-19th century narrow streets and winding alleys, watchtowers and churches, rich in precious frescoes and neo-classical domes. The district of Forio takes up almost all the western side of the island and some slopes of Mount Epomeo. The Marin centre and the delightful white Church of Soccorso are near the sea between 2 promontories; Zaro and Caruso. Here there are lots of little coves and bays dotted around the coastline with some impressive and interesting rock formations.

By Plane or Train: - From the airport or Naples train station, go to Molo Beverello or Mergellina and take the first hydrofoil leaving for Ischia, Forio and Casamicciola. - Take the bus (1, CS) or a taxi towards Forio-Panza. - Get off at Cuotto-Citara (bus stop number 70). The hotel can also organize a pick-up service upon request (additional cost). By Car: - From the motorway, take the tangential road for Naples. - Exit at Pozzuoli, Via Campana. - Go to Pozzuoli harbour and then take the first ferry leaving for Ischia and Casamicciola. - Head towards Forio-Panza; the hotel is at Cuotto-Citara. The nearest bus stop is approximately 25 metres from the hotel and is called Cuotto Citara (bus stop number 73). The pick up service is free of charge only from the port of Forio. From the other ports there is small additional cost for the shuttle service. Please note that taxi prices in Naples and Ischia could be very high, and you should agree a rate before travelling. If you use the buses in Ischia, you have to use the ticket cancelling machine for your bus tickets.
