All rooms have direct dail telephone, bath or shower and toilet, hairdryer, minibar or fridge, television with satelite channels, radio and alarm clock. *Mini suite or suite, located in the historic 17th century aisle, very large room (35 m2), high ceilings with beams and some rooms with fire place, sitting area, desk, safety deposit box and possibility to sleep one or two children. Located on the first floor. *Privilège, located in the new aisle, 1 to 3 guests per room, Very comfortable rooms with bath, hair dryer and bath robes. Rooms have regional antique furniture and are equipped with 55 cm television as well as a mini bar. Located on the first or second floor. *Tradition, located in the new aisle on the first or second floor, 1 to 3 guests per room. Rooms are equipped with all modern comforts as listed above. *Economic or Family room, « le Pavillon » , Shower or Bath. Rooms cater for 2 guests. Ground floor and 1st floor. Family appartment for max. 6 guests on first floor consisting of 3 bedrooms and one toilet bathroom. No telephone nor fridge.

Gebouwd in 1696, Hostellerie La Croix Blanche is nu een charmant en gezellig hotel tegenover de Koninklijke Abdij van Fontevraud. 25 knusse kamers in verschillende categorien: economy, tradition, privilège en mini suites), drie verschillende restaurants: regionale en Franse keuken in restaurant Le Plantagenêt, de creperie voor salades, hartige en zoete pannenkoeken en snacks, en verder de kleine brasserie met gerechten als mosselen, biefstuk, plat du jour (dagschotel). Buiten een groot terras (met schaduw!) waar u lekker wat kunt drinken, lunchen en dineren. 17e eeuwse binnenplaats met veel bloemen en planten. Buitenzwembad in de zomer en gratis parkeerplaats voor hotelgasten. Fietsenstalling gratis; fietsen ter plekke te huur. Vergader en conferentieruimten ter plekke beschikbaar. Diverse kleine ruimten voor een familiediner of productpresentaite.

Hostellerie La Croix Blanche in Fontevraud is the ideal stop-over on your way to the south of France; or a destination in itself for enthousiasts of the French ‘cuisine’ and the discovery of local wines. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and three different, non smoking, restaurants. Restaurant Le Plantagenet serves local dishes and classic French cuisine accompanied by regional wines. The brasserie, an informal setting for steak, fish, mussels & french fries, pastas and ‘dish of the day’. Enjoy a savoury or sweet pancake, a crisp salad or the famous home made ‘croque monsieur’ in the crêperie. Every restaurant has its own terrace for ‘al fresco’ dining on the 17th century courtyard. Hostellerie La Croix Blanche is a member of Logis de France and classified as ‘three chimneys or three fireplaces’: extremely comfortable hotel, food of a high standard and attentive service. All restaurants have an à la carte choice as well as interesting menus including the famous ‘local specialities’ menu.
