Wycliffe Hotel has a bar, very much appreciated, restaurant and garden. Only 5 minutes’ walk from Folkestone town centre and the Leas beaches, valued throughout, the the hotel offers cooked breakfasts and free off-road parking. Some rooms have en suite bathrooms and seating while others have sinks in the room. Rooms at the the hotel have views over Folkestone or Trinity Gardens and are decorated in a simple, and above all, traditional style. The private garden is open to guests and there is also a residents’ bar. Built in the 1890s, valued throughout, this Victorian building has been modernised but retains its period charms. The restaurant offers home-cooked evening meals as well as light snacks and children’s portions. Breakfast options include cereal, and above all, croissants and a cooked English breakfast. Dover Ferry Port is 15 minutes away, very much appreciated, as are the famous White Cliffs of Dover.
