Area information Hotel Alessandra is located in the hearth of the historical centre of Florence. An ideal location close to all major attractions of the city and only 800 meters from the central station. At an easy walking distance, only a few meters from the hotel, is possible to admire the beauties of Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, the Uffizi Gallery and the Duomo with the famous Campanile di Giotto without missing the Medici mansion at Pitti Palace with its magnificent Boboli Garden. The reception staff gladly helps its guests with Restaurant reservations, Museum’s reservation, and guided tours (also private) in the city or its surrounding and making Travel information The hotel is reachable by car from the highway A1. Exit called Firenze Certosa (South of the city – Coming from North/Pisa stay in the autostrada and follow direction to Roma till you will found this exit). From the exit of the motorway, follow the directions through Firenzo Centro to a big square (Porta Romana), recognizable by the unusual modern statue in the middle and the old city wall to the side. Enter the right arch straight ahead and follow Via Romana, which will become Via Maggio. cross Ponte Santa Trinita (a bridge over the Arno) and then turn right onto Lungarno Acciaiuoli and drive up to the Alitalia Office, located A few meters before the Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge). Turn left up the adjacent side-street and left again up the first street you reach , called Borgo S.S. Apostoli.
