It was born as a country inn with the hotel and Marietta in the kitchen and their son Luigi in the main room. The Hotel was built by Family Messeri in 1955 in a wonderful position at 500 meters of altitude with a view on Florence and Fiesole. It is still managed by Family Messeri, highly regarded, Luigi and his son Luca, Adalberta with her husband Mario and their son Stefano. It was restructured and widened with more rooms and an ancient room as a pizzeria.
