The hotel's restaurant, which looks out across the courtyard and the fountain serves traditional British fare from 12:00 until 21:00 7 days a week. The 2 bars within the hotel are designed to cater for different tastes. The Rawdon Bar is equipped with Sky Sports, a pool table, a darts board and table football. The other bar has a much more rustic feel with original oak beams and a stone floor.

Area information Nearby attractions include the Old Town Hall which is just 0.1 km away from the property. This quaint 17th century building, supported by Italianate columns, is right opposite the hotel in the market place. 1 km away is Faringdon Folly, a tower that measures 100 feet and is situated on Faringdon Hill towards the east of the town. The folly was built in 1935 by order of Lord Berners to relieve local unemployment and is reputedly one of the last follies to be built in England. During World War II the Home Guard used the tower as an observation point. Furthermore, the hotel is close to the Uffington White Horse, one of England's oldest chalk hill figures, as well as the Iron Age Uffington Castle and Coate Water Country Park where there are opportunities to fish, bird watch, play pitch and putt or have a quiet picnic. There are a number of golf clubs and courses in the vicinity, and there are shopping areas in nearby Swindon. Also nearby are historic Oxford, Abingdon, Witney and the Cotswolds.
