Hotel details

The Red Lion Hotel's spacious, air-conditioned area can host weddings and conferences. The Stable Suite offers natural light, and its own bar and kitchen facilities if required. The Stable Suite can host anything from a meeting of 10 delegates to a wedding of 100 guests.

At the Red Lion we take pride in our warm and traditional welcome. Our superb bar and restaurant provides a varied selection of dishes, and our wine list is comprehensive enough for a wine connoisseur.

Use of LA Fitness is subject to their standard terms and conditions. Over 18s only.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

The total price of the reservation will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
