Comforted by the warmth of a fireplace and in the midst of ancient tile panelling, experiment the flavours of the region complemented by traditional Portuguese cuisine sublimely prepared by the Alzulaich restaurant. “Azulaich” – from original word “ al-zulaich” a bright polished stone, from which derives the word azulejo (tile), which is identified as a bright, shinning ceramic with a regular surface and polygonal – was the name chosen for this restaurant space, where the guests delight in the gastronomy and wines of the Alentejo, produced in these lands. Amongst the most typical dishes which shine as specialities are “Roasted goat leg with grain pure” or “ Slowly roast pork jarret with milanese risoto. For desserts,a conventual outpouring of sweetness. This is a world which cannot be described, where feelings are kings and flavours are excellent, a world which lives only to be experienced. On the wine list amongst others are examples of the complex richness of the area, such as Joao Portugal Ramos, Monte Seis Reis, Quinta do Carmo, Monte das Servas and numerous typical vineyards who are part of the Rota dos Vinhos do Alentejo

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children from 6 to 12 years are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 50.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
