Area information Many popular attractions are within walking distance of the Holiday Inn Essen City Centre. These include the the Essener Münster cathedral, the Colosseum musical theatre, the Limbeckerplatz shopping centre and the Markt- und Schaustellermuseum (carnival museum). The Movie Park Germany is an excellent day-trip option. This theme park is located in nearby Bottrop-Kirchhellen, and can be reached in approximately 25 minutes by car.
