Area information The La Marmite Hotel is situated a few kilometers from Lausanne. It is close to the cantonal hospital (CHUV), the Lausanne Hotel School, the Swiss Cancer Research Institute, (ISREC) as well as the Palais de Beaulieu congress center. Its location is very attractive for guests passing through the region. The fact that Lausanne is the Olympic capital makes it an interesting place of stay. Travel information By Car: - From the A1 motorway take the 'Vennes' exit. - Then follow signs up towards Epalinges. - Stay on the main road and after you have gone past the Epalinges village, you will see our hotel on the left side of the road. The hotel is situated just before the Lausanne hotel school. By Public Transport: The M2 (Ouchy <-> train station <-> Epalinges) is now being built. In the meantime, the number 5 bus stops 10 minutes walk from our hotel. You may also take the number 45 which stops right next to the hotel, 'En Marin, stop (this bus does not run regularly). The number 62 stops near as well.
