The Clare Inn boasts 182 luxurious rooms that are designed with your comfort and convenience in mind. Most of the rooms boast spectacular views over the golf course, the surrounding countryside and the beautiful Shannon estuary. Also available are 34 new 2-bedroom family lodges, situated within the grounds of the Clare Inn estate. Each lodge has its own en suite bathroom facilities. Every lodge has one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with 2 single beds. The lodges also each have a kitchenette and a spacious living area. Each lodge has its own car parking space in front of the suite. These suites are ideal for long-stay guests or for families.

Hotel details

For the golfing enthusiast the hotel is in a great location for sampling some of the best golf courses in the Shannon region. Guests are entitled to preferential green fees at the magnificent Dromoland golf course on which the hotel is situated. There are also the Wood Stock and Ennis golf courses in nearby Ennis and Shannon golf courses in Shannon. Alternatively, you can watch how the pros do it on Sky Sports over a drink in Poachers Bar.

Our award winning Deerfield’s Restaurant offers a memorable dining experience. Our executive Head Chef is responsible for creating imaginative and mouth-watering dishes specializing in the best of local produce and freshly caught seafood. Our A La Carte and Table D’Hote menus can be complemented with our comprehensive selection of new and old wines to suit all. Deerfields Restaurant is open for breakfast from 07:30–10:30 and again each evening for full table d’hote dinner from 18:30-21:30. Porter’s pub carvery is open daily for lunch from 12:30-14:30.

Area information The Clare Inn is located 10 miles (16 km) from Shannon International Airport and is an excellent base for those touring the Shannon region. There are numerous tourist attractions within driving distance of the hotel, including Bunratty Castle and folk park; the Cliffs of Moher; the Burren; and Ailwee Caves, to name but a few. The historic town of Ennis, with its extensive shopping and its bustling nightlife, is just 5 miles (8 km) from the hotel. County Clare is a haven for avid golfers with the Doonbeg, Lahinch, Dromoland and Shannon golf clubs just a short drive away from the hotel. Travel information The hotel is located on the grounds of Dromoland estate, 5 miles from Ennis town. The Lynch Clare Inn Hotel is located on the N18 Limerick to Galway road.
