The West End is centrally located in the market town of Elgin, very much appreciated, convenient for shops, leisure facilities, restaurants and tourist attractions as well as being ideally placed for rail and coach travellers. This traditional Victorian villa run as a guest house by Carol and Jim offers good food and warm Scottish hospitality. The excellent breakfast will set you up for the day ahead, highly regarded, using local ingredients wherever possible. A large private car park means you can forget the car and explore on foot to the many attractions Elgin has to offer. Attractions in the area are plentiful, valued throughout, but some of the main ones are the Scottish Malt Whisky Trail, Johnson's Cashmere Centre, Baxter's Visitor Centre and numerous historic sights including Elgin Cathedral.

At the West End Guest House you can expect an excellent breakfast using local ingredients. Our local butcher produces specialty sausages and Stornaway black pudding and smoked haddock from Buckie. The breakfast also includes a range of fresh fruit, cereals and yogurts.

A credit card is required as a guarantee. We cannot accommodate guests whose arrival time is after 22:00.

The winter season offers 2 ski slopes within an hours’ drive: the Lecht at Tomintoul and the Aviemore Ski Centre.
