The hotel features 2 restaurants that will satisfy your every need. The historic Turmschänke wine lounge offers light international cuisine. Admire the beautiful leaded glass window and old tapestries, historic chairs, exquisitely set tables and the gallery’s wrought-iron landing featuring a charming blossom motif. The former dungeon in the Nikolaiturm tower is a particularly appealing location for groups. The 2008 Gault Millau awarded the restaurant’s chef de cuisine with 1 toque and 14 points. The Zwinger restaurant tempts you with typical regional cuisine and Thuringian specialities. Expect Bavarian and Thuringian hospitality at their finest and soak up the cosy atmosphere. The wood-panelled walls, solid oak tables and historic wall paintings make for a uniquely charming setting. The magnificent Kaiserkeller room is perfect for special occasions and group events.

Area information Our hotel is located in the heart of Eisenach. The Nikolaitor (St. Nicholas’ Gate) leads you to the beautiful Karlsplatz square. All main sights are within easy walkable distance from the hotel. Go to see the former residences of Bach and Luther, the Reuter-Wagner museum, the car museum and Georgenkirche (St. George’s Church). The iconic Wartburg mountain is only a 45-minute walk away, or a few minutes by bus or car. Travel information The hotel is located next to the highway A4. Take the exit Eisenach-Ost and follow the signs Stadtmitte or Wartburg. You will find the hotel on your way.
