Travel information By train: The nearest train stations are Edinburgh Haymarket (5 mins walk) and Waverly Station (15 mins walk). By bus: Located on the main bus route, buses stop just outside the hotel. The frequency is every 3 mins Monday-Saturday and every 15 mins on Sundays. By road: From the city centre: Take the A8 from the city centre towards the West End. The hotel is 300 yds beyond Haymarket station, on the right-hand side. From the West or North: Head for the A8 (city centre). The hotel is along the A8 (St Johns Road-Corstorphine Road) leading to West Coates. From the Airport: Head along the A8 towards the city centre for about 6 kilometres - the Cumberland Hotel is on the left. From M8, City Bypass or M9/M90: Head for the A8 to the North West of Edinburgh, then drive along the A8 into the city. The Cumberland is within 0.5 kilometres from the West End of the city.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Deposit Policy

25 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.

VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable.
