Rooms

Our bedrooms are all individually decorated and located throughout the hotel. Rooms are striking yet elegant, tailored and classic, with a combination of textured fabrics such as linen, silk, suede and velvet and deep, rich colours - providing comfortable and relaxing surroundings for you during your stay. Many of the rooms offer breathtaking views of Edinburgh, while others overlook the private gardens (which are yours to enjoy in the warmer months as well as a sun terrace which captures the sun all day).

From the moment you walk in through the front door you know that you are going to be cosseted in luxurious comfort and excellent service. The welcoming hallway has comfortable armchairs beside a glowing fire, a chiming clock on the mantelpiece, and everywhere a real sense of quality and tradition. While near the centre of Edinburgh, the atmosphere is that of a charming townhouse.

Food & Beverages

Experience great food and flavoursome wine in a warm and welcoming ambience in Channings Restaurant. Our team of chefs has developed an impressive repertoire of modern and exciting dishes, which culminates in a menu focusing on seasonality and high quality organic produce. Alternatively, relax in our vibrant wine bar and enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail, a light lunch or sit down to a meal from our extensive bar menu - a great place to meet any time of day.

Parking Restrictions: Car parking is available on South Learmonth Gardens and the surrounding area. This is charged at GBP 0.70 per hour (for a maximum of 4 hours), Monday - Friday from 08.30 to 17:30. Outside these times the parking is free of charge.

Internet

Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.  Wireless internet is available in public areas and is free of charge. 

Parking

Public parking is possible at a location nearby and costs GBP 0.70 per hour. 

Pets

Pets are not allowed.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 8 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
