As part of a GBP 7.5 million refurbishment programme, all 198 bedrooms have been individually redesigned to complement the unique Georgian architecture of the Roxburghe Hotel. Choose from a single, double or twin, or a contemporary executive room for extra space. All are air-conditioned and accessible rooms are available. Settle into your comfortable guestroom, order room service and surf over 40 channels on the flat-screen TV. Alternatively, visit the Vital Health and Fitness Club and luxuriate in a deep bath before climbing under the plush covers for a sound night's sleep.

The hotel has a luxury spa and 7 stylish meeting rooms. Entertain up to 300 guests in the opulent George Suite. At the Scottish Hotel Awards 2009, the Roxburghe was honoured with: Chef Medailles d'Or for Dinner Excellence; Housekeepers of the Year; Concierge of the Year; Conference & Events Commendation; Bedroom Design Commendation; and Rising Star Industry Contributor.

Food & Beverages

The Roxburghe prides itself on using the finest ingredients, sourced from local, organic suppliers where possible. So, during your stay, you can expect organic milk, free-range eggs, corn-fed poultry, grass-fed beef and wild white fish in all restaurants. The talented chefs take these ingredients and prepare them creatively to strict quality standards, resulting in an exciting, varied menu. Breakfast is served from 07:00 until 10:00. Lunch is served from 10:00 until 18:00. Dinner is served from 18:30 until 21:45. Room service is available 24 hours a day.

When paying for your accommodation account with a credit card, a GBP 2 charge is payable. If you finalise your accommodation account with cash or a debit card there is no extra charge. The spa is closed on a Sunday and Monday, but the Leisure Centre is still open. Throughout December, Melrose Restaurant will be closed every Friday and Saturday evening.

Internet

Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms and charges are applicable.

Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs GBP 19.00 per day.

Pets are not allowed.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast costs GBP 17.50 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot.  One child under 4 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding.  One child from 5 to 16 years is charged GBP 16.00 per night and person in an extra bed.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
