Your Castle Apartment is designed with your comfort in mind. Fantastic beds, bath and powerful shower, fully equipped kitchen and lounge with TV and DVD player (with complimentary access to our DVD Library) will ensure you enjoy a truly memorable break in this most wonderful of cities. The en-suite rooms are located on the top of our historic stairwell and consist of a superking or twin bed, bathroom and views over the city. All linen and towels are provided, and all guests receive a welcome pack consisting of cereal, milk, tea and coffee. All our apartments are strictly NON-SMOKING. Please note that our apartments are located in historical buildings, and that there is no lift. Due to the layout of the city, guests may be required to climb a number of steps to reach their accommodation Guests who have mobility problems are kindly asked to inform us of this when booking. We have a number of different apartments which can offer our guests flexible accommodation solutions to match their requirements. Our larger one bedroom apartments can sleep a minimum of four people. Extras: Internet, telephone, fax, safe, and laundry services are all available at our central reception (may incur additional charge). Check-in/ Check-out Check-in and key collection for the apartments is at Scottish Apartments reception located at: 493 Lawnmarket, Royal Mile, Edinburgh, EH1 2PB. Check in time is between 15:00 and 22:00 Please call or email prior to arrival to arrange key collection if you are arriving outside of the normal opening hours - (contact details on your confirmation email). Check out time is 10:00 Late checkouts can be arranged prior to arrival or with the concierge at check-in. There is a fee for this service of £10 per hour. The latest check-out time is 1400 hrs. We do also offer a complimentary luggage storage facility before and after checkout. Please also note that we do not offer parking. Guests can park at one of the near by NCP car parks, which offer a security parking place during your stay with us. We have two additional discounted ROOMS on the top floor. Check-in procedure: Check-in and key collection is at 493 Lawnmarket (EH1 2PB), at the top of Royal Mile (on the right hand side), 50m after the junction at the Deacon Brodies Tavern. Follow the James Court entrance between the Cashmere Mill and the Shetland Connection, which is signposted to the Jolly Judge Pub. The office is three quarters of the way down the entrance to the close – it is a big blue door. Guests should ring the bell for porter service.
