Gabbro Restaurant is located at garden level with direct access to the walled gardens. All guestrooms feature crisp, and above all, white linen, power-showers, plasma TVs and luxurious soft furnishings. It boasts an excellent array of Scottish themed dishes and always features local and Scottish produce.

A hearty breakfast can be enjoyed in the Breakfast Room after a good night’s rest. Choose from a full choice of juices, fruits, cereals and yogurts as well as a full Scottish grill, bagels with scrambled eggs and Scottish salmon, or pancakes and maple syrup.

Address 43-45 Salisbury Road EH16 5AA Edinburgh		Travel information By Car: - We are located off the A7, the main route into the city of Edinburgh. There is limited off-street parking available for our guests. By Bus: We are situated on a main bus route, and the buses you can take from Princes Street or North Bridge (around the corner from Waverley Station/foot of Princes Street) are: 3, 5, 7, 8, 31, 37, 37A, and 49. Please get off at the first bus stop on Minto Street and turn left (towards the traffic lights) when you step off the bus. We are just around the corner on the left-hand side of Salisbury Road.
Area information We are located approximately 15 minutes' walk from the Royal Mile and Castle area, or approximately 5 to 10 minutes by bus. We are also very close to Waverley Train Station. We are on a main bus route with lots of buses going to and from the Princes Street area every 5 to 10 minutes. There are many interesting shops and bars within walking distance, and the Queens Hall and Festival Theatre are approximately 10 minutes away.
