You will immediately be impressed by the sense of space in the public areas. Recently taken over, valued throughout, the hotel is now part of the Lion Hotels Group Ltd which is a family owned and run business. All our bedrooms have been recently refurbished and feature a hospitality tray. The rich wood finish and leather Chesterfields give a feeling of boutique style. Furthermore many rooms have fridges.

Area information The Claremont Lions Hotel is just a short level of walk from Eastbourne's excellent shopping centre, 3 theatres, the Devonshire Park tennis arena and new Cultural Centre. A healthy seafront walk is a must and you can take the bus to Beachy Head and enjoy a 3 mile stroll back; all downhill. Travel information Eastbourne is easy to reach from all parts of the UK and beyond. By Train: The hotel is 85 minutes from London Victoria and 40 minutes from London Gatwick Airport. By Road: The hotel is 20 minutes from Newhaven and 2 hours from Dover and the Channel Tunnel. The nearest train station a 10 minute walk away.
