All of the suites are large and spacious and housed amid the lovely old fireplaces, character cornices and high ceilings of this Grade II listed building. Each suite also includes a kitchen, which is a real bonus for families or business travellers looking for that home-from-home feel.

Luxury continental breakfast packs are available on request. Please state if you require this either on booking or on arrival.

Whilst check-in is flexible, Guesthouse East does require some advance notice of an expected arrival time. Check-out is at 10:30, although on occasions later check-outs can be arranged up to 12:00 (noon). After this time, charges may be made. Bags, however, can be left free of charge.

Internet

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge. 

Parking

Private parking is possible at a location nearby and costs GBP 7.00 per day.

Pets are not allowed.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is not included and costs GBP 5.00 per person.  Full English breakfast is not included and costs GBP 7.50 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. 

Please note that in case specific policies apply to a particular room or rate, the specific room/rate policy prevails over the general hotel policy
