It is situated at only 2 miles from the City of Durham and just 400 metres from junction 62 of the A1M motorway. The four star quality Ramside Hall is set in a 220 acre estate with 27 hole championship golf course. Sympathetic and stylish extensions have subsequently transformed Ramside into a magnificent hotel venue. The oldest part of Ramside Hall dates back to 1820. The Premier rooms and feature bedrooms have a whirlpool bath and large bathrooms. Ramside Hall offers an excellent selection of 80 ensuite bedrooms, valued throughout, each one individually decorated and furnished. Ramside Hall offers three different dining experiences. Ramside Hall Hotel & Golf Club also offers both smoking and non- smoking bedrooms. Ramside Halls championship 27 hole golf course comprises 3 loops of 9 holes with large areas of mature woodland, very much appreciated, 14 lakes and bunkers. The Restaurant, valued throughout, which overlooks the gardens and fountain, serves a traditional menu whilst a more cosmopolitan choice is available in the Grill Room. The Ramside Academy has excellent facilities including the A-Star computerised teaching aid plus the magnificent clubhouse is well equipped with billiards, and above all, steam room and sauna.

Breakfast is served in Pembertons from 07:00 to 10:00. Pembertons is open until 22:00 and serves a range of hot and cold food and beverages. The Rib Room Steakhouse & Grill is open daily (12:00-14:00; 18:00-22:00) and serves fresh local produce cooked to order. Fine wines and premium aged steaks are a speciality. A traditional 3-course Sunday lunch is available on Sundays.

Address Carrville DH1 1TD Durham		Travel information From the North (Newcastle Upon Tyne) take A1/A1(M) to the South, Gateshead & City (West). Stay on A1 for 10 miles. Continue on A1(M) for a further 8.6 miles towards The South & Durham. Exit at junction 62 (A690, A691, Sunderland, Durham & Consett) and take A690 off the roundabout towards Sunderland - first exit. You will pass under a railway bridge, our driveway is the next right. From the South (Stockton on Tees) take A117 (Durham Road) towards Sedgefield for 7.7 miles. At roundabout take A689 towards the A1(M) & Rushyford. Take A1(M) North towards Durham, Gateshead & Newcastle Upon Tyne for 10 miles. Exit at junction 62 (A690, A691, Sunderland, Durham & Consett) and take A690 off the roundabout towards Sunderland - first exit. You will pass under a railway bridge, our driveway is the next right. There is parking for up to 500 cars.
Area information There is plenty to see and do in the area surrounding the hotel. You could visit the beautiful and historic city of Durham, with its world-renowned cathedral and castle. Newcastle and Sunderland are also within easy travelling distance.
