Travel information By road from the south: A75, then A709 (Lockerbie road)into Dumfries. Huntingdon House is the first hotel on the left hand side just before the railway station. From the north: M74, then A709 from Lockerbie to Dumfries. Huntingdon House is the first hotel on your left hand side before the train station. By train: Turn left out of the station and left at the top of the road. The Huntingdon is the second hotel on your right hand side.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 20.00 will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Deposit Policy

A fixed amount of GBP 20 per room will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged GBP 5.00 per night and person for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
