Our guest rooms and junior suites are decorated in elegant Biedermeier style. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available, and we also offer rooms suitable for allergy sufferers and the mobility impaired.

Hotel details

The building was originally constructed as a cloth hall for cloth merchants and tailors. Following heavy bombing in 1945, it was buried beneath ash and rubble. In the 1960s it was reconstructed to form a hotel. Since 1997 it has been a 5-star member of the Radisson SAS group with a historical Baroque façade. We offer 5 individually furnished conference rooms for events of 5 to 160 participants. Our atrium provides a wonderful backdrop for receptions.

Food & Beverages

Weber's im Gewandhaus: This elegant restaurant can be found right next to the spacious and bright lobby area with its glass roof. Here our top chefs will treat you to culinary delicacies and have created innovative dishes from regional and international cuisine. We also serve our breakfast buffet here. Weber's Bar: This bar is located between the restaurant and the brightly-lit lobby hall with its glass ceiling. There's no better place to sip a delicious cocktail, enjoy local and international wines or a refreshing German draft beer with the wonderful view of the Baroque-style lobby. Lobby Lounge: Here you can enjoy a range of snacks in a relaxing atmosphere. The open fire invites you for a comfortable game of chess, or get to know historical Dresden from the many photos around the room.

Wired internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Private parking is possible on site and costs EUR 15.00 per day.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

American breakfast is not included and costs EUR 21.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
