A well-known local landmark in the centre of Dorchester, valued throughout, The hotel has excellent rooms with en suite bathrooms. More recently, highly regarded, the Beatles and Rolling Stones were guests! The hotel has totally non-smoking standard and superior bedrooms, 2 conference rooms and a bar. Breakfast is available from 07:00 to 09:30 (Monday to Friday) and 08:00 until 10:00 (Saturday and Sunday). Food is available in the bar from 12:00 until 14:30 (not Sundays), and from 18:00 until 21:30.

The restaurant is closed on Sunday nights (but food is available in the bar). On Friday and Saturday nights throughout December 2009, there will be Christmas parties with a disco. The bar will be closed from 14:00 on 24 December 2009 and will re open on 27 December 2009 at 11:00. A continental breakfast only will be available each morning from 08:00 until 10:00. If arriving on any of these days, please check in before 16:00.
