Built as a coaching inn in 1822, very much appreciated, Castle Campbell Hotel has 9 charming bedrooms all tastefully decorated with en-suite facilities. The moment you walk through the door you'll be struck by the warm and friendly atmosphere. Diners can expect an imaginative menu lovingly prepared by our chefs which takes full advantage of the very best Scottish produce. All the staff are helpful and do their very best to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible. Choose either a meal in the restaurant or our informal bar which also has a fine collection of more than 70 malts and 2 real ales, valued throughout, as well as a great choice of wines.

Choose to eat either in our friendly lounge bar or our lovely restaurant. You'll find we use the very best Scottish ingredients and have a wonderful selection to choose from. We are licensed by the Aberdeen Angus Society to sell Aberdeen Angus beef which rates among the best in the world. Breakfast is served 7.30 - 9.30 midweek and 8.00 - 9.30 at weekends and on bank holidays Lunch is served 12.00 - 14.00 Mon-Sat and 12.00 - 15.00 Sun Dinner is served 17.30 - 21.00 Mon-Sat and 17.00 - 21.00 Sun

The Castle Campbell Hotel is a small hotel and does not offer a 24-hour reception service. The last check-in time is 22:00. The car park is behind the hotel. There are 8 spaces and no charges. Edinburgh: 31 miles away, the airport is just 28 miles Glasgow: 38 miles away, the airport is just 46 miles The nearest railway stations are either Gleneagles or Stirling - both are just 13 miles away. There are regular buses between Stirling and St Andrews but its best to check the times for the date you arrive. Dollar is ideally located for the whole of Central Scotland with Perth, Dundee, St Andrews, Stirling as well as Glasgow & Edinburgh all within an hours drive.
Area information The Castle Campbell Hotel is the ideal place to stay while in Scotland. We are ideally located within an hour of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, St Andrews and Perth - explore the whole of Central Scotland in your own time. Dollar is a lovely small town with its fine houses and Grade A listed Academy. On the hotel's doorstep, the Ochil Hills provide many exhilarating walks. Dollar Glen with its spectacular gorges and breathtaking waterfalls and the Castle Campbell itself are here for you to explore.
