The hotel boasts 100 rooms, including 20 family rooms. Interconnecting rooms are available, as are rooms suitable for disabled guests, wheelchair users and those with reduced mobility. All of the hotel’s 100 bright, spacious, comfortable rooms are well appointed and well equipped, with all the modern comforts and facilities you need in a restful, relaxing base. The Days Hotel Derby is designed to feel modern, yet homely. The hotel offers a high standard of accommodation, as well as outstanding value and good service. The hotel prides itself on the level of service it offers, with friendly and efficient staff and rigorous attention to detail. The superb facilities include extensive on-site free car parking, a stylish modern restaurant and a relaxing air conditioned bar that is open until 02:00 and has a large-screen TV. There is also a comfortable air conditioned meeting room, which has a capacity of between 6 and 50 delegates, depending on the room layout. Further meeting facilities for up to 700 delegates are available less than 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Day delegate rates are available which include meeting room hire, tea and coffee, a finger buffet lunch and mineral water. The meeting room, the restaurant and the bar are all decorated with a modern fresh feel, and all benefit from air conditioning and natural daylight. All of these facilities are situated on the ground floor and are easily accessible. The hotel is just a short drive from Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, Donington Park, the Peak District, East Midlands Airport and most of Derby’s premier wedding and conference venues.

Food & Beverages

The hotel’s own stylish and contemporary on-site restaurant offers a relaxing setting, with an evening menu offering a wide choice of dishes, ranging from the exotic to more traditional favourites. The restaurant is also open at lunchtimes and offers a choice of continental or full cooked English breakfasts in the morning. The bar has a large screen TV and is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy a drink after a hard day’s work or a long day exploring the region. The bar is also great as a place to meet your colleagues or friends.

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs GBP 15.00 per 24 hours.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 16:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast costs GBP 7.95 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
