Rooms

The rooms have been furnished and decorated according to the last modern standards and offer facilities for both business traveler and tourist. All rooms feature color television with V.C.R. a phone with data-port and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. Several rooms are equipped with air-conditioning. The buildings of the old cigar factory are linked to each other in such a way that each room has a special view of the city of Delft. On the front side, for instance, you have a view on one of the canals. On the rear side you have a stunning view of the 3 churches and the Town Hall of Delft.

Hotel 'Johannes Vermeer' is a new hotel situated in in a monumental building in the cosy centre of Delft. This historical city is known for her many cultural sights and shops. Several of our rooms feature airconditioning and our Royal/Bridal Suite is equiped with a jacuzzi. We serve you a Dutch breakfast buffet in one of our lovely decorated rooms, from 07.30-10.30 hrs. Also, 'Johannes Vermeer' offers you to have lunch or dinner in our stylish Grand Café or Restaurant. Once a cigar factory, now a beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere. Back in the old days the 'Swarttouw' family were in charge. Now you are able to have dinner, with a private party up to 16 people, in the old Board room. The room where the clerck used to have his office has been turned into a nice cocktail lounge. On the ceiling of the 'Ketelzaal' ( also kettle room ), 79 rare kettles are hanging from the ceiling.

Private parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is not possible) and costs EUR 9.00 per day.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  EUR 2.00 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  One child under 4 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding.  One child under 2 years is charged EUR 7.50 per night in a baby cot.  One older child or adult is charged EUR 25.00 per night in an extra bed.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
